Dear Be Yoga Community,

Our theme of the month for May is muditā which means joy. Muditā is the perfect description for what I feel when I think of you – our community. Being with you online these past two months has helped me lean deeply into gratitude and find joyful moments amid the chaos. Seeing you practice with your families and pets, getting glimpses into your homes, and connecting with each other before & after class brings me so much joy.

As we grow and evolve to create new ways of being together, one thing remains unchanged – we are a true community. Since Be Yoga began online classes, we’ve welcomed new members from around the country and reconnected with members who have moved to other continents! No matter where we live or how the world is spiraling around us, we can find steadiness and joy in being in this community together.

Be Yoga is here for you now and will continue to be. While we are eager to return to the studio, your well-being remains our highest priority. We will wait to host in-studio classes until we are confident that it is safe to do so. We don’t yet have a date for this, but we are getting ready by preparing the studio and putting new safety procedures in place to support you.

In the meantime, we are exploring options for gathering outdoors when it is allowed and will continue to offer regular Online Classes now and after reopening the studio. Our Community Facebook Group is another great place for us to connect with each other. We have something really special coming soon for our unlimited members (think Be Yoga On-Demand) and our Online Retail Boutique is in progress! We will share details on all of this and more in the coming weeks and we remain open to hearing your feedback and ideas on what you would like to see happen as we move forward.

It is with a humble heart that I thank each of you for continued support. If you have taken a class online with us, made a purchase, or supported us in other ways, I thank you. Thank you especially to our members who have kept their monthly memberships active and to all that have reached out with personal notes of encouragement. Our community (and my almost two-year-old walking around singing “Chin Up” from Charlotte’s Web) are what brings me muditā! Reach out with an email or join me for our next Online Community Meetup to say hello, ask a question, or share how you are finding your muditā. I hope to see you there!

Love,

Cara
